Frequently Asked Questions

What to know before the first order.

Production answers must remain synchronized with the current company catalog, coverage, pricing, working hours, and policies.

Who can create an account?

Licensed real-estate agents, independent agents, brokerages, and offices can apply. Office relationships and some accounts may require approval before ordering.

How do I place an installation order?

Sign in, select Installation, confirm the property and coverage, choose the service window, post, panel, riders, and accessories, add placement and access instructions, then approve the quote and payment rule.

How quickly will the work be completed?

Available dates depend on the service area, working days, capacity, weather, inventory, property access, and order type. The available window is shown during ordering. Do not rely on a general promise that is not shown in the confirmed order.

Do you provide a completion photo?

When the service requires photo proof, the installer submits it through the job. Approved photos appear in the order timeline.

Can I choose where the sign is installed?

Yes. Add clear placement instructions and, when available, a placement photo or map point. Final placement must remain safe, lawful, accessible, and consistent with property and utility conditions.

What happens if the installer cannot complete the work?

The installer reports the reason and permitted proof. Dispatch reviews access, safety, weather, inventory, address, or customer issues and communicates the next step. A return-trip fee may apply only when disclosed by policy and quote.

Can you store panels, riders, posts, or lockboxes?

Storage depends on enabled services, eligible items, available warehouse space, ownership, and account terms. Any storage fee or minimum quantity appears in your account or agreement.

How do removals work?

Choose the installed property, confirm which items should be removed, and select their return destination. The installer records condition and completion proof according to company policy.

What is a service call?

A service call can cover repair, straightening, relocation, inspection, replacement, or adding and removing a rider or accessory. The quote identifies included work and replacement items.

Do you offer rush service?

Rush availability depends on location, service, working hours, capacity, and safety. Any rush fee is shown before approval.

Who pays for an office order?

Approved accounts can be office-paid, agent-paid, prepaid, automatically charged, or invoiced according to the office agreement.

What if a post or sign item is missing or damaged?

The company reviews the item, order history, custody, photos, and policy. A missing or damage charge is itemized and should not be applied outside the applicable agreement and review process.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Use the order actions or contact support. Fees depend on the confirmed cancellation policy, appointment timing, order state, and whether an installer has begun travel or work.

How do text updates work?

When you voluntarily opt in, Ahead of Time Signs can send account, order, invoice, and service-request messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Review the SMS Terms and Privacy Policy.

How can a brokerage set up office pricing?

Create a brokerage account or contact the company. Approved office pricing, payer rules, catalog, coverage, agents, and billing remain private after login.
